Efficiens was established in Montreal in 2005 as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) consulting firm specializing in software testing. We helped to pioneer professional SQA using industry standards and tools back when most software testing was done by developers who were untrained for the task. By founding the Montreal chapter of QAI and working with local educational institutions such as ETS (L’École de Technologie Supérieure), College Bois-De-Boulogne and The Montreal College of Information Technology, Efficiens has helped train consultants in SQA, mentor newcomers to the field and even change the way companies operate internally by helping them set up their own in-house “centers of excellence”.
